ESB Reutlingen extends its outstanding double degree programme

The European School of Business (ESB) in Reutlingen is extending its popular binational business administration degrees with universities in Poland and the Netherlands, as well as more universities in the USA. This means that, beginning in the winter semester of 2009/2010, students at the ESB will be able to work on 20 degree courses towards an “International Management – Double Degree” in collaboration with institutions of higher education in eleven other countries: three universities in the USA or one in England, France, Spain, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Poland and the Netherlands.

In addition to the theoretically-driven economic and intercultural aspects of study at the ESB, training at the ESB entails two integrated practical semesters. Students spend two years in Reutlingen and two more years at one of the partner universities. They must have a good command of English and the national language in the respective partner university. The exchange scheme is supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in tandem with the German government with the aim of establishing a four-year Bachelor programme.

Reutlingen University's ESB takes part in the “International Partnership of Business Schools (IPBS)”, a consortium of eight leading business schools throughout Europe and America, and has consistently been among the frontrunners in university rankings. With over 50 professors and more than 2200 students, the business school is one of the biggest business administration faculties in Germany.
