The Friedrich Ebert Foundation

The Friedrich Ebert Foundation of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) funds undergraduates and graduates who are working towards a degree in Germany.

The foundation awards up to 40 scholarships annually, especially to people from African, Asian, Latin American, Eastern and Middle European countries.

Junior scholars working on a special research project or course of study are also supported. In addition to a university degree the applicants must be able to provide proof of at least two years of scholarly work in their home country.
